Intuitive Massage with Healing


Working on the basis of integrating the mind, body and spirit, Tamara will look to establish the cause, whether it be internal or external. The aim is to rebalance the body so it achieves balance or homeostasis. As a Bodyworker, Tamara has trained not only extensively in massage, but also anatomy & physiology and general health as well as spiritual wellbeing in healing.

From a practical perspective the treatment aims to relax muscles, increase oxygen in the blood and release toxins from muscles. Stroking in the direction of the heart stimulates circulation and flushes the tissues of lactic acid, uric acid and other metabolic wastes. As well as providing specific medical benefits, intuitive massage improves general health and wellbeing.

The massage encompasses a number of techniques designed to relax the muscles and ease tension where the body feels it. It involves long, flowing strokes, often in the direction of the heart to increase circulation and blood flow, the result is an improvement in oxygen flow and the release of toxins from the muscular system.

Psychologically, massage will decrease anxiety levels if done with slower movements, but also will invigorate with brisk movements.

Spiritually, it can help to ground you and bring you to a sense of equilibrium. Aiding the release of images-1heavy energies and the feeling of being ungrounded through the energy healing part of the treatment.

In the Intuitive Massage, should there be any spirit communication for guidance on your life journey, or indeed a message from a loved one in spirit, Tamara will pass the information on to you during the treatment. It’s often a lovely way to help you release emotions or energies that are not benefitting you and can help you find that ‘a-ha’ moment in relation to something happening in your life at this moment.

Post treatment, it’s important to look after yourself. Take time out for yourself, let the healing carry on working for you. Drink water, to help the toxins out of your body quicker and it’s advisable to not drink alcohol but to allow your body and mind to appreciate the cleanse it’s just received. Often, in a relaxed state, we receive answers to questions that we’ve been pondering for a while.
